Unfortunately we do not know how to control the mind. Because, We neither learnt it in the School,College nor at the work place. Luckily I found Brahma Kumaris. I would love to share that i learnt to all my brothers and sisters world wide.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10402503295159047865noreply@blogger.comBlogger1076125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4281489299848508887.post-39479988913028757702016-07-07T10:51:00.000+05:302016-07-07T10:51:03.298+05:30Cleanliness of the intellect brings accurate decision making.

Soul Sustenance 07-07-2016

Crossing Negative Situations With Spiritual Power (Part 3)

Situations are to be overcome without them creating a deep influence on our consciousness. It is said that tolerate situations with pleasure and don’t feel their pressure. Pressure of situations has a negative effect on our mind and that can in turn influence our thinking to such an extent that it’s difficult to take away your mind and thoughts from the situation. Someone might say that since the last four days I have not stopped thinking of my argument with my office colleague or another one might say today I am low since the morning because I heard a very bad news of the death of my close relative. Isn’t it almost like a natural instinct? If a situation is there I will feel different and that different is always negative.

So how do I train myself for a more right or more natural instinct of remaining positive? That will come over a period of time with experience and also practicing stability in every difficult situation we face. It’s like a ship without a rudder, which can lose direction and drown in a rough sea. In the same manner, the rudder of spiritual power will enable us to cross negative situations with ease. It’s also not about saying to yourself that I am powerful and then repeating the same mistakes of thinking negative. Unless power is filled in the soul through the technique of meditation, we will never change into positive thinking individuals even if we are very determined to become positive and remain away from the negative. Power in the mind will also create positive sanskaras of faith, patience, determination, tolerance and stability, which will help us in any difficult situation and we will cross every negative situation with ease and lightness.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Life can become a difficult and rough journey, which is when spirituality with all its different benefits can help us immensely. Spirituality is the technique of learning how to rule over yourself not only at the level of words and actions, but also on a more subtle level of thoughts, feelings and emotions. It teaches us the art and fills us with the power of applying a brake to our negative and unnecessary thoughts when a difficult situation is in front of us. It’s not about suppressing your mind and saying that from today I will not get angry or I will behave with love and humility with everyone and then going back to your negative self after some time. This is unnatural. But on the other hand, it’s about gently transforming your negative emotions into positive ones by the use of spiritual power filled in the self by connecting with the Supreme Spiritual Power Source of the world - God. This connection is called meditation in spirituality.

Also, it’s not about just relaxing your mind by reducing the number of thoughts, but it’s about creating the right positive thoughts which replace the negative thoughts which are in our mind, when we are in the middle of a difficult situation. So, spiritual strength is what will give us the ability to change our way of thinking and behaving and not just spiritual knowledge. Remember, it’s our personality which needs to change and that will automatically transform our thoughts and feelings, which are influenced by my personality.

(To be continued tomorrow …)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Another common example is of trustees associated with temples and welfare organizations. All the wealth and ornaments that devotees offer in temples out of faith, love and devotion for God or all the wealth and property that people give in charity to welfare organizations is taken care of by a group of trustees. In all these cases and more, while taking care of the wealth, honest trustees always keep the consciousness that this is not their wealth or property and will always use it in the right way, as they have been directed. This is called keeping the trust of the owner/owners of the wealth, hence the wordtrustee.

In this way, now as a trustee, throughout the day I keep a consciousness that the treasures of my mind, my thoughts, words, actions, virtues, powers, time, my physical wealth, physical body etc. are the Supreme Being’s property and I have been appointed as a trustee to take care of them. In this way, I will use these treasures in a positive way, for a positive purpose (as mentioned earlier for a purpose of bringing myself and other close to a state of truth) only; in a way the Supreme Being wants me to and has instructed me to do so. This establishes a relationship of detachment with the treasures I possess and also brings about my spiritual self-growth.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

The Supreme Being while sharing the knowledge of these treasures and the method of using them, also shares, that for our benefit, once we realize what these treasures are, we should surrender these treasures to Him. This is an invisible or non-physical surrender, not a physical or visible one.

Once these treasures are surrendered to Him, unlike worldly surrenders, the treasures don’t remain with Him, because being an Unlimited Donor and being Incorporeal (bodiless), the Supreme doesn’t keep them with Himself and returns them back to us. Anyways, the surrender is deep but is on a mental level and not on a physical one. But, while returning the treasures back, the Supreme Being presents a condition in front of us. He says that since these treasures now no longer belong to us, we need to remove any sense of ownership over them and become a trustee while taking care of and using these treasures only for the purpose instructed by Him, the purpose of bringing the self and others closer to a state of truth (as explained in yesterday’s message). It is natural to desire that our mind be content and peaceful, our body be healthy and we earn wealth without facing any obstacles and also our relationships our beautiful. But all of these desires will only get fulfilled if along with taking care of all of them, we include God at every step of our lives. You might ask what has God got to do with my physical wealth or my job? But remember it is your healthy and pleasant mind which influences your physical body positively and makes you healthy and a powerful mind cannot be experienced constantly without a loveful relationship with God. In the same way, without God’s help, we may be able to run our jobs for some time but the journey may be stressful and the money earned may not give to us a lot of happiness. Also, what use is a beautiful relationship if God is not there to share the happiness of that relationship with? A lovely parent or a child for e.g. is a result of our good actions of past lives. So shouldn’t I include God in this happiness? God is like a parent Himself who deserves to be told each and every little thing that I experience in a worldly relationship. We give peace, love and happiness and get blessings in return. They say that all the people who surround you and make up your life play an important role in shaping up your personality and success filled relationships are a source of immense joy for each one of us.

The fifth and most important aspect of our lives is God, who makes our life beautiful and our mind, body, wealth and relationships are shaped positively by remembering Him. God does not give us our minds but teaches us how to make our minds beautiful by connecting our minds with His. Also, our physical costume or the precious vehicle, when used in the way God wants us to use it, makes our actions filled with divinity and purity. Even our wealth and the way we use it gets affected positively when we earn it by making God our constant companion and giving Him due respect by keeping a small amount aside from our profits, for the service of people and their betterment. And lastly our relationships can never be successful without including God in them. What that means is that I take from God and share with others. I connect others with Him. These five different aspects of our life define our life. All are important in their own way and how good we are in handling all of them makes us happy and content. These different aspects or pillars are the foundation of our lives and all of them are connected with each other. Remember the negatives and the positives will at times exist in our minds but it is the extent of both which matters. The negative needs to be minimal and the positive needs to be as much as possible. Also, our wealth is a third aspect of our lives, which needless to say, is important in its own way and life would be incomplete without it.

(To be continued tomorrow …)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

The mental chatter or noise stops. A gentle flow of slow, clear, transparent and peaceful thought is produced. The organs of the senses and the body are calmed and your emotions become peaceful. In this state you can listen to the voice of your conscience, the voice that guides you. That way you awaken the divine intuition. On listening to that voice, you are strengthened. You begin to have more determination to carry out the things that you really want to do, without fear preventing it.

With meditation you learn to love the silence. A tender, beautiful and sweet silence. That way you value each word more, given that to not lose that experience of the sweet silence, you try to talk less, to speak with sweetness and gentleness. When you generate the love and pleasure in going to the silence, it helps you express the best of yourself. To help others, sometimes it is better not to speak, not to use words; to use the vibration of your thoughts and good feelings that emerge from that state of silence. That way you will enter the hearts that are trapped in darkness. Those hearts are in darkness, they have lost hope, and they are hurt, wounded, discouraged. From your silence you transmit to them the light with which they can find a way out. To receive it, they have to be willing. But if their time has not yet come, at least they will know that there are people willing to help from a silence that does not judge, does not complain. A silence that accepts, appreciates and loves, generating an atmosphere in which one can be oneself and feel free to change at their own speed, without feeling forced, but rather from understanding and love.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">As explained in yesterday's message, if you are living in isolation you don't become aware of the dimensions of your ego and, therefore, you cannot overcome it.<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">Also, the beauty of group interactions or being a part of a spiritual community or any other group, is that in groups, various powers like the power to<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">:
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- adapt and mould oneself with people of different personality traits and as different situations in the group demand;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- tolerate;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- face negative situations in interactions;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- forgive and forget;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- become a detached observer of situations and people's actions, not to get over involved, in order to maintain one's stability and calmness;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- co-operate;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- communicate;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- see and absorb only specialties of each one (inspite of obvious weaknesses being visible) and spreading the specialties (not weaknesses) to the others in the group, by way of praising and not criticizing them;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- listen, understand and empathize;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- discriminate and judge different situations and people;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- go into inner silence, whenever required, amidst the actions and interactions of group activity;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- show respect to each one and remain in self-respect;
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">- remain content or satisfied and make the others content; etc.

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">are absolutely necessary to experience success in the groups, either within the relationships with others or even with the self. There is a difference between experiencing success with the self while staying alone and within a group. By bringing the above powers into practice in a group, they increase further inside us. This does not happen in isolation, or if it does, then the extent is quite limited. So basically, being a part of a group, brings about greater spiritual growth and empowerment.

Soul Sustenance 07-12-2015

Soul Maintenance

In order to take care of the physical body, we give importance to diet, exercise and to proper rest or sleep.

In order to take care of the non-physical self or soul, we need to make sure that we feed our intellect with positive thoughts. Attention needs to be kept on the diet of the intellect. If we keep feeding it with positive thoughts, then automatically it will make us free from any heaviness and we will feel the lightness of our own mind.

The regular practice of meditation for 5-10 minutes every morning is the exercise for the soul. Meditation will help us master our sense organs, think more peacefully and powerfully, maintain our focus of inner attention and therefore remain undisturbed by external events (at the workplace or at home).

The third important thing is to give enough rest to the soul. We sleep to energize the body. We need to give rest to the soul in the form of silence in the mind. Refuse to do anything in this one minute. Just one minute of silence and calmness every hour gives rest to our mind and will empower (strengthen) us for the rest of the hour. So we are able to do our work more efficiently and effectively.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

In fact, this is the first step to becoming a ruler of the self and making the self powerful. If we fail to detach from our thoughts and emotions then they will be our masters, they will go out of control and will, as a result, leak away or waste our energy. Practice simply being the witness of whatever you are thinking and feeling. This is an important aspect of any good spiritual practice and after a while you will find it an experience that both, frees you and empowers you.

The external dimension of detached observation is the technique of being a witness to or an observer of the scenes, of the world around us. As we stand back and watch the scenes of life being played, on the world stage around us, without being actively involved, we can see the big picture more clearly. This makes it easier to judge clearly what is the most suitable contribution that we can make and the most suitable role we can play - through our thoughts, words and actions.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

That is what God’s pure desire is. But how will he fulfill His desire? It is through us that His knowledge will be given to each soul in the world, through our thoughts, words and actions. Have you ever dreamt of a world where every human being had the true spiritual knowledge of him or herself and thought, spoke and acted according to that? Such a world would be a beautiful place to live in and there would be no sorrow of either the mind or the body or your role and relationships. All the sorrow in the world is because of a lack of true spiritual knowledge in human minds.

Giving knowledge to the world is God’s primary act, which He performs when He is present in the world to change it, when sorrow increases. But, He cannot perform this action without our help, because He needs human beings and the words they speak to reach out to billions of people all over the world. So, do you ever think that I should be one of those chosen ones who will become instrumental in helping God at this particular time or do you think this duty is to be fulfilled by others and not necessarily me? The world needs the friends of God, who are extremely close to Him and are taking spiritual knowledge from Him to take out time everyday to help God in His task and this is something that we need to do soon. World servers are God’s right hands who perform their daily actions related to their routine, play all their relationships of family and friendship, work hard for a living and succeed immensely and inspite of that give spiritual knowledge to each and everyone whom they meet and love. Loving someone means that I realize my duty of giving him or her the knowledge that I have and they start experiencing happiness because of the knowledge.

(To be continued tomorrow ...)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

This is showing in the form of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, droughts, and many more forms on a physical level along with negative changes in the minds of people on an emotional level. It may be difficult to believe but each of the more than 700 crore individuals of the world are contributing to a negative fall in values as well as physical energies of the world. Remember, as each one’s cumulative negative thought patterns are affecting the world in a big way, in the same way the positive thought power of a few pure and powerful minds can cause positivity to spread in the entire world and begin to change the world constructively. It does not require crores of people to bring about a change in the world, only a few thousand or a few lakh pure and highly motivated minds can do it.

We all live in a world where we are influencing each other every second with our thought energy and also changing each and every molecule of the world including every cell of our own physical body, nature in general and nature’s five elements – earth, wind, water, fire and sky. So, as a world server, it is important to realize that the world does not necessarily need the positive energy of all the people of the world. It is not possible that all of us i.e. each and every individual of the world will change in a big way or become purer. We do not have such a huge system in place where everyone starts cleaning their consciousness and that starts changing the entire world. It is only me, as an individual who can start purifying myself and bringing about a change in my immediate surroundings like in the people I am close to, my loved ones, the society in which I move about and then the city in which I stay, then in my country and then in the whole world. This is called world transformation through self transformation.

(To be continued tomorrow ...)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Why is it that God is such a merciful parent who does not spend a single second without thinking about the benefit of the billions of humans who face some trouble or the other in their lives? God wants to liberate everyone from sorrow and bring a land of happiness for everyone. Do you know that God is an intelligent energy which is not spread all across the world but He stays in the soul world which is a world up above and beyond the five elements of nature? Because He is the most powerful being, the energy of His presence can be felt by anyone who remembers Him, wherever they may be on the planet earth. This is because God’s power of thought is so strong that He can respond to anyone who remembers Him by sending out a vibration of spiritual energy and providing help to that particular person. Because He is the purest and most powerful being that exists, God can do this for the more than 7 billion people of the world at one time.

If someone were to ask what does God do the whole day? This is one important thing that God does - taking care of the whole world and answering each human being’s prayer. Of course, to what extent He does that for each one of us depends on the cleanliness of our hearts and how much we love Him, remember Him, respect Him and follow a lifestyle full of thoughts, words and actions which He likes. So this is God’s service. Do you remember the time when your mother gave you five rupees to donate to the school fund for the blind or for the deaf and also when your father bought you a bag full of coins to give each day to the nearby store which was collecting funds for little children with polio or those who were orphans. All this was taught to us when we were small. But, as we grew up, and became busy in our studies and grew into adults, these good giving habits were forgotten and we thought this was not something very important and we have the rest of our lives to do the same. Do you know that in our previous births, in traditional India, as a part of bhakti, we all have in total donated lakhs of rupees and ornaments (jewelry) in temples in the name of God, which used to be a fixed tradition and a part of our worship. Of course, we were not equally rich in each birth, but the traditional India in which remembrance of God started, saw kings and queens belonging to different states performing punya karma like donation to please God and also to make their own good destiny. That was the old India. And we are talking about a few thousands of years from now as per the knowledge of the world drama.

The India now and the world in general today have forgotten those old traditions because we became materialistic. As we all know, the remembrance of God today through different types of worship and the reading of religious books or shastras is no longer as popular as it used to be, especially in the modern world. These traditions were followed by our ancestors who were not people different from us but it was us, in our older physical bodies i.e. we as souls, in our previous births.

(To be continued tomorrow ...)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

God And I – The Task We Share (Part 1)

Crossing barriers like a difficult exam or a challenge at work with a positive state of mind is something we have all got used to doing in our busy lifestyles but what we need to remember is that that these passing scenes of life keep coming and going. It’s as if challenges in life have a birthright to keeping coming in our lives and we have to cross them with determination and will-power. But along with the ability to be able to cross different situations, it is our duty to look outside our personal lives and see the world around us and see how people our suffering and what we can do for them on each day and get them out of their sorrows. The world is in need of people who are ready to take time out of their busy schedules and live their lives in changing others into happier and more content human beings. When asked whether you would like to live a life of service, we normally say that’s for those who do not have a regular time table of personal and professional work. But at the same time, it is our duty that every day we spend a few minutes in the service of others and in making people happier and free from the pressures of facing difficult situations of the mind, body, work and relationships.

In this message series, we shall explain the importance of service which we can include in our regular life and become humble leaders in the field of service. This type of leadership in spirituality means taking a humble pledge each morning that I will touch the lives of others in different ways and make a difference to them. This does not mean that I do not take care of people who are close to me either at home or at the workplace and I don’t live a busy lifestyle. But those few minutes of service of people, whom I come across everyday at different times, will fill my life with their blessings, full of love and happiness, which in turn will make my personal as well as professional life full of success.

(To be continued tomorrow …)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Thought to Ponder: <span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">It is common to get influenced when we hear or see anything negative. But our effort should be such that w are not influenced by anything negative. For this, we need a long time of practice of seeing positive. If I have been seeing positive in a person, I will not easily connect to his negative, even if it is being expressed at that time.<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">
This will help me to slowly connect to positive instead of the negative aspect of a person.<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "verdana"; line-height: 18.2px;">

Soul Sustenance 29-11-2015

Awakening Your Intuition (Part 2)

Meditation purifies and sharpens our intellect which makes it broader and far-sighted and also makes it free from waste and negativity; very clean and clear, like a mirror. As a result the intellect is able to subconsciously look into the hidden aspects of any situation, sense the underlying thoughts, emotions and feelings of people involved without any of them being visible, also look into the future without it having evolved as yet and sense the right solution. Nothing can remain hidden from a mirror. Even though a mirror is not consciously aware, somehow or the other it will decide correctly. This is only the intuitive capability, the capability of becoming a situation doctor, hearing the mental pulse of the situation and coming up with the right cure for it, which is awakened by meditation immensely. If the intellect contains negativity or waste and is not clear, sometimes one or more than one of the many influences which we had mentioned in yesterday's message might be perceived to be the intuition and then we might fail in a particular situation. It’s important to note that the intuition, if heard correctly, which is only the case when the intellect is clean, can never be wrong and will always take you in the right direction.

In the above context, for the completely analytical minded, it’s significant to understand that the intuitive perception was favored more by old spiritual traditions and the intellectual perception, is being favored more by modern science and medicine. Relying only on the intellectual perception is not wise. It alone cannot give us a complete idea of reality. A balance needs to be created between the two different types of perception. People with a balance will be more successful in life and victorious in difficult situations.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Also there is the influence of the outside world in general - all that we see, hear and read. There are also our attachments, selfish desires, fears, mental biases towards a particular person or situation, emotions like jealousy and hatred, beliefs etc. which influence our perception. Our mind is full of all these influences, many of them even conflicting each other, and we experience complete turmoil or indecisiveness inside ourselves, we don't know what to do.

In such cases it is sometimes extremely wise to keep all these influences aside, sit in silence and listen to what our intuition is saying to us. There are many situations, in which after the situation is over, we realize that all the influences mentioned above would have taken us on the wrong path, but it was our intuition, our inner voice of wisdom, alone which gave us the right solution and took us safely to our destination.

(To be continued tomorrow ...)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Absorbing Spiritual Light (Part 3)

Continuing from yesterday’s message, we should not keep the vices bottled up inside us like prisoners. Prisoners are always plotting to escape. If we change them into our friends they can help us. For example, the energy required to be stubborn is almost the same as that required to be determined except that one is positive and the other negative. The soul learns to transfer such energy. Anger becomes tolerance. Greed can be transformed into contentment. Arrogance, or the respect for false identity, can become self-respect. Attachment can be changed into pure love.

The more I inculcate the Supreme Soul or God’s virtues, the closer I feel to Him, but if I allow inner disturbances due to any vice, my high stage is grounded. All the power stored up until that moment will leak away. I must recognize that I really do not like being body-conscious. As I wish for higher experiences I choose to live the life of a meditator with purity in thought, word and action. Obstructions come within and without, but through my connection with God I am drawing so much power so as to remain unaffected. This needs soul-consciousness. So in discarding the rubbish of the vices I have gathered over many births, I become my original form and maintain it through my closeness or companionship with God.

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Therefore it is better that we do not try to deal with each vice and defect individually. As the soul fills itself with the power of spirituality, its overall condition automatically improves.

Another significant point is that there is a deep-rooted awareness within the soul of God and His sanskars, however much it may be covered by dirt and weakness. This is because each soul is the child of God and being his children we inherit his sanskars. These sanskars are present in us when we start playing our part in the physical world, but gradually they fade away as we take more and more births. As these sanskars are brought to the surface of the consciousness, automatically our thoughts and behavior patterns change.

In modern psychology it is stated that we must express all our negative emotions and note suppress them. But the fact is that letting it out leads the soul further into slavery to that emotion. Remembering that thoughts, decisions and actions are formed on the basis of sanskars, which are deepened by repetition, the soul can only cause harm by expressing any defect or vice. On the other hand, the psychological effect of suppressing negative emotions can be quite drastic. Suppression can lead to severe personality problems, even madness or insanity. The right path is that we emerge our positive sanskars with the help of meditation and other self-development techniques and the negative ones automatically vanish away.

(To be continued tomorrow …)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

The question of vice, or sin, has been of a lot of importance in religion. No matter how much political or religious control has been imposed, nothing has been able to block the internal wasting away of the light of the soul. Light has a source but darkness does not. Darkness is not created by any source but is rather the absence of a source. In the same way, the negative forces do not emerge from the real nature of the self, but are simply symptoms of a lack of spiritual power or light. As spiritual power declines, symptoms of negativity such as anger, greed, ego, attachment, hatred, jealousy and related vices appear. On the other hand, as the soul's power and spiritual light increases through a union (meditation) with the Supreme, the vices automatically disappear. In fact problems are not fundamentally caused by a particular vice, it is a question of the extent of one's power. If I am weak, the sanskars mostly related to vices dominate my experience. If I am strong they do not have a chance to affect me.

The negative forces have often been personified as Ravana, Maya or Satan but in fact there is no such entity. Mayadescribes a level of consciousness. There is no outside being whom we can blame. The vices are symptoms of individual ignorance and loss of power, which appeared only when our original creative powers subsided as we came into the process of birth and rebirth. When the soul's power fell below the level necessary to control matter and the senses; then the vices emerged inside the soul. The soul was more and more propelled by them through many births, until today when they appear to be a basic part of our real nature.

(To be continued tomorrow …)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris

Without sitting in the vehicle, I cannot make the journey. As I sit in this vehicle, I am introduced to this new, multi-faced, peaceful, loveful and blissful character in my life, a character who is spiritually rich with treasures of knowledge, virtues, powers, happiness and blessings, a character commonly called God, by everyone.

He is a character who introduces himself as being just a point of conscient light, a form very simple and plain. Yet, hidden beneath that simple light, incognito form is an immense volume of experience, wisdom and depth, such that even a lifetime spent in this journey, in his company, does not bring you to knowing him completely. The more you dive into the ocean of knowledge contained within the light, the more you discover and the more treasures of knowledge and experiences you receive. Every time you make contact with this new found companion called God, there is growth inside you and there is an increase of peace, love, happiness and power inside you. It's just as if after you've begun this journey, you're never quite the same again. However much time you spend in his company during the journey, whether it be in imbibing knowledge from him or remembering him during meditation or even sharing the benefits of this journey to other friends and relatives so that they can also start this journey themselves and experience what you are experiencing; whether you do either of these for a few minutes or an hour, there's always an experience of subtle growth and development inside you.

(To be continued tomorrow...)

In Spiritual Service,
Brahma Kumaris
